During the December Board Meeting, the Board recognized Mr. Joseph Lee, Jr., Teacher at South Columbus High School, on being named the North Carolina State Board of Education/North Carolina Department of Public Instruction “Educator of Excellence” for his dedicated service and outstanding contributions to the education of exceptional children as selected at the 70th Anniversary Going Platinum Exceptional Children Conference in Greensboro, November 18, 2021.
